Eleonora is a Dutch furniture brand established in 1994 by Willem Schakel, who named the company after meeting a Romanian woman during a charity trip whose family’s workshop inspired him to import their designs. Now run by his son Michael, the brand has grown to over four hundred dealers across Europe and produces seasonal collections spanning industrial, Scandinavian and vintage influenced furniture including tables, chairs, sideboards, sofas and bedroom pieces. Collections update several times per season, keeping the range current without losing the brand’s consistent identity.
